Fun Table For Four
Our blog explain our family's journey - a crest. What ever it is, God will be always the center of our marriage (Rolly+Grace). It shows how life can be simple but great, painful but fruitful. It does not design to display or impress but to be able to let our love ones, specially my kids (Amir_Ace) understand what reality states: "Life is not a bed of roses". Parents like us start from nothing but because of them we do not want to end up nothing. "Start from scratch and to do the rush... Aja!

Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Immaculate Queen and Mother, the refuge and consolation of all troubled souls! I kneel here before thee with my family and choose thee for my Lady, Mother and Advocate with God I dedicate myself and all who belong to me to thy service forever, I beg thee, O Mother of God, to receive us into the company of thy servants. Take us under they protection. Help us in life and the hour of our death.
Mother of Mercy, I name thee Lady and Queen of my family and relatives, my interests and all my Undertakings. Take charge of them; dispose everything as it pleases thee.
Bless me and all my family. Never let any of us offend thy Son. In every temptation defend us; protect us in every danger; provide us in the necessities of life; counsel us in doubt; comfort us in every sorrow, in every sickness, and especially in the final sorrow of death.
Never let the powers of hell boast that they have enslaved any of those who are consecrate themselves to thee. Grant that we may all enter into Heaven to thank thee and, in thy company, to praise and love Jesus our Redeemer for all eternity. Amen. Thus, may it be...

Its been a month since our house was being "solely" renovated by my very own father, Mang Carding. It all started when we need to make a much safer place for my twins, their bedroom, since then everything went change... for good.
WELCOME....
To the Mini-Couple's Bedroom...
A PLACE TO REST.
Now, the last room needed to be fix in the house was finished, I see how my father took pride of his major work and that is making our own bedroom. Every time we had a visitor, nothing have to passed out without touring them to the entire house, that is why I always make an effort to make the house as nice as possible even I have two little Jurassic-cute act kids to clutter the house. Who could say that this can only be built by one person, every single details, everything you see here was patiently made and build up by my father, I could hardly imagine his effort aside from the fact that he is old enough to do all this things alone, injury and some bruises was a the least I could expect while he was doing this. I will never forget the time he meet an accident while he was taking the part of removing the old walls of our bathroom, a big piece of rock was fall into his feet the cause him to go the nearest clinic.
When I was a kid, I never passed a sleep without dreaming of a beautiful houses, but not for me. I am thinking some of my friends and cousins asking me to arranged their houses from them selves. I actually imagine what would be the design of each houses based on their personality and the kind of activity they have. That is why, I really took the opportunity to participate in furnishing the rooms, you know some kind of a frustrated interior designer, ha-ha-ha@! I just realized that I could never be an interior designer when I was in high school since I never got a grade of 80 in my mathematics subject. Our simple-small altar was placed in our room since I think this is the most quiet place to pray alone in the whole house, some people say that this should be placed where most people can be seen, on the contrary -I don't like the idea of placing altar as part of display attraction in the house just to let the people know that I am a catholic or religious person.
This picture frame was the front and back pictures used in our wedding album. I decided to display as a surprise to my husband and and the same time since photo album was usually for keepsake I chose some of the best photos to display as memorabilia of our dream day wedding.
FRAMES ALL OVER THE ROOM
I requested my father to make me a small walk-in cabinet, since our room is very small its hard for me to buy huge cabinet that could be difficult to get inside the house and since my husband and I have many stuff to be kept one cabinet is not enough. I asked a "no door cabinet' so that I can see see and find things easily. The only thing I bought here was this small mirror cabinet to the tune of P1,800 in Pajo, I choose this because the mirror was actually a door where things w/ chemicals like lotion and perfume need to be keep away from my children attention can be placed here. On the left side was our clothes needed to be hang and the right is our folded clothes and some stuff, simple as that. To cover the clutter, I hang this wooden beaded curtain I bought in Quiapo which we called by my father "burlas-burlas". One more thing, I am a kind of person who likes to buy good things at "ukay-ukay" and the white-peach curtain was actually bought in baguio ukay-ukay for only P250.00, good buys isnt?!
THE DRESSER
WALK IN CABINET W/ SMALL VERANDA AT NIGHT
I actually asked to my father to make me another space in the house where I could place some of my things which is not accessible to my kids. So he made a somewhat like veranda/mezzanine like on the top of our walk in cabinet. This is where I could put my stuff in school, some of my things like stuff toys that I collected since high school, most of them are from my friends. Well since I had my twins boys around its hard for me to display most of my girl things at sad to say my boys are asthmatic, I need to keep them away from this because of their health condition but, guess what happen....
AMIR GOING UP TO VERANDA..
HE NEVER STOP..
BECAUSE HE PLAN SOMETHING, UPSTAIRS!

Welcome to....
The Twins's Bedroom!
The Mini-Living Room...
The Mini-Dining Room...
Woh, its never been finished, its just a beginning of never ending decorating activities in the house, this is the only things I could do aside from taking care of my twins until I finished my one year leave, wish me luck for this new career....In behalf of Abella family, we would like to say thanks for all of this, I am not good in this kind of speech, no words can express how we really appreciated being treated like this and welcoming our family, I know this is a kind of act you also never be expected to do. I always remember when I was young, you always told to us not if one of us will get married, we need to get out of the house and live thousand miles away from you, but now look where we are...
Time will come that we need to separate ways, this is one things that we could only left behind. Thanks for everything...

"To Love Is Not To Look At One Another But To look Together In The Same Direction ."
Abella-Arellano Nuptial, the moment Rolly and I were waiting for nine years, a union that binds us as one. Wedding is one of the most awaited, fascinating but expensive ceremony ofor two lovers, but for us commoners, it was likely just a dream. Love is the condition in which happiness of another person is essential to your own. We learned to work hard and independently to prepare for this special celebration and our future family. For two years, we bought a lot in Bulacan, managed to buy a car and finally, set a wedding plan.
Nobody knew about our plans from the very beginning. We believed that beautiful weddings need not too be costly. We didn't plan that after the celebration, our married life would start with heavy debts or simply flat broke. We limited our guest for financial reasons and at the same time we wanted to be witnessed by people that really became a part of our life. No show-off ika nga! We're not celebrities. We didn't like our wedding to be extravagant that guests would criticize. We wished our guests to be fascinated and inspired in our wedding. And this was how it started.
OUR WEDDING RING was the first thing we decided to order 7 months before the wedding.
Two Years before our wedding, we already come-up w/ this design, unlike the usual wedding ring - we want our wedding vow engraved inside the ring, So that we would not forget it as; we getting older....
Our Wedding Prayer
It took us along time to fulfill this dream. We thank you for giving us all the happiness and trials we had; it is YOU who always give us the guiding spirit, Now we pray for only one thing... make this love of ours the most lasting.
Only Time - Sung by Enya was chosen to be the piece for the bridal walk.... Usually, most churches prepared the Wedding March or instrumental song but since this is another "soon-to be couples" idea we need to get the Church approval and send copy of the lyrics to the Wedding Coordinator.
ONLY TIME Enya
Who can say where the road goes, Where the day flows, only time? And who can say if your love grows, As your hearth chose, only time?
Who can say why your heart sights, As your live flies, only time? And who can say why your heart cries when your love lies, only time?
Who can say when the roads meet, That love might be ,in your heart? and who can say when the day sleeps, and the night keeps all your heart? Night keeps all your heart.....
Who can say if your love groves, As your heart chose, only time? And who can say where the road goes Where the day flows, only time?
Who knows? Only time Who knows? Only time
Two souls with but a single thought
Two hearts that beat as one
GROW OLD WITH YOU Adam Sandler
I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad Carry you around when your arthritis is bad All I wanna do is grow old with you Ill get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you I'll miss you I'll kiss you
Give you my coat when you are cold I'll need you I'll feed you Even let ya hold the remote control
So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink Put you to bed if you've had too much to drink I could be the man who grows old with you I wanna grow old with you...

I LOVE YOU ALL THE WAY
Janie Fricke
All this time we’ve been together Everyday a new adventure Time’s enough to last forever and a day Our love was sometimes all we had Through good times and through bad I loved you all the way. . .
All our days were’nt bright and sunny There were times we had no money You could always find some funny things to say I’m lookin’ back on where we’ve been I’d do it all again I loved you all the way. . .
Refrain: I loved you all the way, hey Everynight, everynight, everday. . .
Times I thought I could’nt take it Wondrin’ if we’d ever make it You could hold me close and make it go away And though I’ve said it all before I never meant it more I love you all the way. . .

We found our calm and harmonized home in a topsy-turvy place of Tondo.
Summer of 2007, we resided to my parent's house in Tondo, Manila. The Arellano family was glad to live together with us, especially the twins' grandparents. On the past, at the time of their great grandfather Valentino Arellano , the house was built with large scale and was then divided to three when he passed away. The other two were rented for family income. Not until it was decided to renovate the house for us to move in and some time for Amir and Ace to cherish their childhood.
These pictures were taken inside the house after being renovated by my father (it took him only three months to finish this single-handedly.)
The wooden narra sofa has its sentimental value & were first brought after receiving my first paycheck (1998)

We bought a piece of land in Bulacan and we're hoping in the future, perhaps after 4 years, our dream house will be built here. For now, we are well and guided by my parents and siblings while my husband works hard and tirelessly overseas (he works on a ship and travels around the globe) for our family's future.
Starting this month, our bedroom will be "refurbished" because my husband, Rolly, will be returning home this month *overjoyed*.
